The program
Scott.AI Inc operates an AI front desk for local businesses. Each client business gets its own phone line. On that line we answer questions, schedule and follow up on work, and send invoices and payment links that a customer requests. Replies may come from the business or from our AI assistant on their behalf.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you opt in
You opt in in one of two ways:
- You call or text the business directly. By texting first, or by asking during a call for a text follow-up or an invoice by text, you agree to receive related messages at that number.
- You request service or an invoice and give your mobile number, asking for updates by text.
A consent notice appears beside the call and text buttons on each business website: "By calling or texting, you agree to receive related texts. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends entirely on your own interactions with the business. Typical messages are replies to your questions, follow-ups on work you asked about, and invoices you requested.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Scott.AI Inc does not charge you for messages.
How to opt out, and how to get help
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below.
You can rejoin at any time by texting the business again.
Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Our privacy policy is at scott.ai/privacy. In short, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and your consent to receive text messages is never shared with anyone.

Messages are supported on major United States carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.
